Ready for scale

iFLUX is backed by leading venture capital firms such as PureTerra.

Groundbreaking technology

iFLUX's patented solutions are at the forefront of groundwater technology.

Climate change and pollution increasingly threaten our limited freshwater resources. With approximately half of our drinking water coming from groundwater, protecting and restoring groundwater has become more urgent than ever. iFLUX enables better protection and sustainable management of this vital resource. By actually monitoring groundwater movement and contaminant transport, we provide the critical data and insights that help our clients manage groundwater dynamics efficiently.

To build our presence in France, we are looking for a Country Lead France who can represent iFLUX locally. With your groundwater expertise, knowledge of the French market and skills to navigate these areas, you will build and nurture the right commercial relationships and coordinate our partner model on the ground.

Do you identify with our values of keeping things down-to-earth and actionable, embracing dynamic change, and doing good for people and water? Then join our team!

How does your role look like?

As our first dedicated person on the ground for France, you will take over our existing contacts and early-stage opportunities in the French market and turn them into structural growth. Supported closely by our Belgian headquarters, your primary mission is to accelerate local traction and strengthen the logistics and technical support network needed to scale.

You will steer our growth across two core verticals: remediation of contaminated sites (sites et sols pollués) and drinking water utilities. You can be based in France or in Wallonia (Belgium) — both are equally welcome — and you will operate with high autonomy while maintaining deep integration with our HQ team.

Your key responsibilities are:

  1. Consultant Channel Acceleration: Take ownership of our traction and pipeline with French and international environmental consultants (bureaux d'études). Educate, enable, and manage these consultants as a key sales channel so they actively specify and pitch iFLUX technology to their clients.
  2. Strategic Account Management: Build and manage relationships with national and regional decision-makers at key accounts, including large industrial groups and relevant drinking water utility stakeholders.
  3. Pilot Conversion & Scaling: Manage ongoing and past pilot projects, leveraging their success stories to convert early-stage validation into long-term, recurring commercial contracts across the country.
  4. Partner Network Coordination: Harmonize and manage existing and future sales partners by aligning sales targets, defining account ownership, preventing channel conflict, and driving performance.
  5. Market Visibility & Enablement: Elevate iFLUX's brand by speaking at key industry events, hosting webinars, and educating consultants to correctly position our technology in the French market.
  6. Technical Sales Support: Accelerate complex, high-value opportunities brought in by partners by translating client requirements into technically and commercially sound proposals.
  7. Specification Sales: Position iFLUX technology directly with local regulators, agences de l'eau, public stakeholders, water utilities and technical decision-makers to ensure our unique value is embedded into upcoming tenders and frameworks.
  8. Logistics & Field Operations: Coordinate local key implementation partners for critical field execution, including drilling, installation, maintenance, and sampling support.
  9. HQ Integration: Collaborate intensively with the Belgian team. This includes a rigorous 3-month onboarding phase featuring frequent travel and extended stays at HQ, transitioning into virtual alignment with strategic travel thereafter.

What do you bring?

    • Language & Location

      • Native or near-native French with excellent professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken, level B2 or higher) to collaborate daily with HQ in Belgium.
      • You are based in France or in Wallonia (Belgium).
      • You are willing to travel regularly within France and periodically to Belgium, especially during the onboarding phase.

      Experience & Background

      • Educational Foundation: A university degree in Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geology, Civil Engineering, or a closely related technical field, to ensure technical credibility with senior engineers and regulators.
      • Industry Domain Expertise: At least +8 years of professional experience within the French environmental sector, specifically focusing on hydrogeology, contaminated land remediation (sites et sols pollués), or drinking water utilities. Hence, you have the technical credibility to steer specification sales and lead conversations with consultants, regulators, utilities and implementation partners.
      • Consultant Network: A proven track record of working within or directly selling to environmental consulting firms (bureaux d'études) active in France.
      • Track Record of Commercial Traction: You have successfully taken early-stage pipeline or pilot projects and converted them into structured, long-term commercial contracts. Experience managing a complex B2G sales cycle is considered a bonus.

      Core Commercial Competencies

      • Technical-Commercial Communication: You can explain technical solutions in a clear and commercially relevant way and can communicate convincingly with diverse stakeholders, from technical experts to decision-makers.
      • Regulatory & Public Sector Fluency: You have a good understanding of French environmental legislation (ICPE, the national methodology for sites et sols pollués) and experience navigating relationships with regional environmental authorities, agences de l'eau, public stakeholders and/or drinking water utilities.
      • Strategic Relationship Building: You know how to manage strategic accounts and build long-term relationships based on trust and technical credibility.
      • [Bonus] Indirect Channel Management: Experience working with partners, distributors, subcontractors, or indirect sales channels to scale local market access is considered a bonus.

      Mindset

      • Autonomous Market Builder: Highly independent, structured, and proactive. You thrive in an evolving growth environment and can confidently build the French market without waiting for every step to be defined.
      • Dual Execution & HQ Alignment: Comfortable being the first dedicated employee for France, seamlessly collaborating with our Belgian HQ.
      • Disciplined Relationship Driver: Deeply relationship-driven with a customer-centric focus. You balance strong commercial drive and technical curiosity with meticulous follow-up and commercial discipline.
