As climate change and pollution increasingly threaten our limited freshwater resources, protecting groundwater has become more urgent than ever. With approximately half of our drinking water coming from groundwater, iFLUX enables better protection and sustainable management of this vital resource.
As a growing organization, we're looking for a Business Developer who actively explores new markets, positions our service-oriented solutions commercially, and helps build a healthy growth strategy for the future.

What will you do as Business Developer at iFLUX?
In this role, you will research, develop and enter new markets where our solutions can make a difference. You put our services on the map with the right target groups. You convince through insight, listen to needs and know how to turn a conversation into a concrete proposal. You follow the entire process – from first contact to deal – and remain a sparring partner for our clients afterwards.
Specifically, this means:
- The successful candidate will identify and develop new markets for our service-oriented solutions.
- Conduct outreach, networking and lead generation within a B2B context.
- Guide the entire sales process: from first contact to quotation, proposal and negotiation.
- Research and evaluate product-market fit, and translate market insights into concrete proposals.
- Help translate our value proposition to sector-specific needs and contribute to developing our commercial strategy.
- Work in an environment where much is happening, bringing focus and hunger to grow, without losing sight of the goal.
What do you bring?
Experience & Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development
- A hunter profile: actively pursuing opportunities and converting them into concrete results
- Work independently, systematically and know how to manage a sales funnel
- Communicate convincingly with diverse stakeholders, from technical expert to decision maker
Technical Background
- Technical knowledge of soil and groundwater management is essential – you understand the challenges of our (future) clients.
- Experience in soil remediation, CSRD or environmental consulting is an additional asset
Language Skills
- Professional speaking and writing skills in Dutch (level C1) and English.
- Knowledge of French or German is a plus.

Key Results
- Goal first year: Generate 1M in revenue
- Create a healthy sales pipeline in line with future growth ambitions
- Take the lead for at least two markets: this means accountability for achieving revenue targets and pipeline growth, and for defining/refining the sales and marketing strategy
