Understanding groundwater dynamics in wetlands is crucial for maintaining their hydrological balance, which supports biodiversity and ecosystem functions. Management practices aiming to conserve or restore the ecological status strongly depend on estimates of groundwater flow. In this presentation, iFLUX founder Goedele Verreydt presents a recently developed groundwater flow sensor: the iFLUX Sensor. She will show a selection of results from case studies in North-East Poland and in North-West Belgium.
